| If upgrading from OMEGA 2.0 or later, the software will automatically identify the resident Gerber software package and upgrade the option set to the appropriate level with the new OMEGA features.
All OMEGA software and components are on a single DVD for easy installation. Please always provide your System Identification number and Serial Number for a successful upgrade. These can be found by right-clicking on the GSPtray icon in the bottom right corner of your Windows screen.
OMEGA 5.0 can be installed “side-by-side” on the same PC with OMEGA 4.0, 3.0, 2.6 or later.
Gerber OMEGA 5.0 files can be saved to previous versions but users are strongly encouraged to upgrade all their systems at the same time to allow for smoother integration. OMEGA 5.0 Upgrades from 2.0 and later include a password and new software. GRAPHIX ADVANTAGE and OMEGA 1.56 upgrades include a new security key and new software.
