GerberCUT automatically and accurately detects registration marks on the printed graphic and corrects the cut path if printed graphics are distorted or skewed. | GerberCUT imports AI, PDF, DXF, HPGL s, and other vector-based file types. Every job imported into GerberCUT requires cut paths and randomly placed registration marks, which are normally created or defined in the design software and can be as simple or as complex as desired. |

A Gerber SABRE with a 4-meg control board is required to support GerberCUT. Older Sabre’s that have a 1-meg control board must be upgraded with the 4-meg control board. The 4-Meg upgrade may be purchased at a special price of $500 when ordered with the GerberCUT option.
To determine if a SABRE has a 1-meg or 4-meg control board, check the revision level of the operating system as described in the following procedure:
- From the SABRE keypad MAIN MENU 2, choose C: Configuration.
The CONFIGURATION 1 menu is displayed.
- Choose C: Revision level.
The REVISION menu is displayed.
- On the Control line carefully note all the letters and numbers that follow.
If the Control version has a 1-meg control board, it MUST be replaced with a 4-meg board to run the GerberCUT option. If the Control version has a 4MB control board, no upgrade is needed.
