GerberColor™ Foils

GerberColor™ foils are specially fomulated for the GERBER EDGE® Series of thermal transfer printers. Print spot, metallic, and process color with the durability to withstand harsh exterior and industrial environments, including abrasion and UV exposure for three to five years. Simply send your job to the printer, snap in a color foil cartridge and go!

Use GerberColor Spectratone™ to create more than 3,000 smooth spot colors using Spot Series, Process Pro and Transparent Series cartridges. Also create GerberColor Spectratone simulations of solid PANTONE® Colors.

GerberColor - Spot Series
GerberColor Spot Series (GCS) foils are available in a wide range of smooth, consistent pigments that match popular vinyls, films, inks and paints. In addition, GerberColor Spot Series foils are a cost-effective and time-saving alternative to a four-color process for one, two, or three-color jobs and offer color matches that cannot be achieved with a four-color process. Most GerberColor Foils have three-to-five year outdoor-durability without lamination.

GerberColor - Process Pro Series
Customers will find with Process Pro Series (GCP) foils that they can achieve more striking graphics through a richer range of color output. This improved color range is further enhanced when these foils are used in tandem with Gerber's new STC halftone dot pattern for even more photo-realistic images. Outdoor durable for three years.

GerberColor - Transparent Series
GerberColor Transparent Series (GCT) foils are outdoor-durable, resin-based thermal transfer foils with the additional quality of being transparent. The GCT foil series are completely compatible with all EDGE READY™ materials. Now, more than ever, your creative talents will have new ways to present solutions for your customers. Outdoor durable for three years.

GerberColor - Medal Series
GerberColor Medal-series foils have a shiny hot-stamp foil look but are digitally printed by the EDGE. The opaque construction of GerberColor Medal Series (GCM) foils makes them the perfect complement for printing onto dark vinyl. No double hitting or primer coats are needed, as each foil will retain its vibrant color tone. The simplicity of applying Medal Series foils will save EDGE owners both time and money.

GerberColor - L.T. Series
Used in conjunction with Gerber Heat Transfer Paper, these spot and process GerberColor foils produce transferable graphics, which are then heat-pressed and applied to garments, textiles, caps and a wide variety of specialty items made of 100% cotton, cotton/polyester blends and 100% polyester.

GerberColor - Special Effects Series
This range of special effects (GCX) foils include high opacity white and black foils, fluorescent indoor-use foils, and two new accent foils: SpectraTint and SpectaShade. EDGE owners can use this foil series with its high density colors, vibrant colors and tint/shade accent colors to achieve high level graphic output that inkjet can't touch.

GerberColor - Finishing Series
GerberColor Finishing foil series are a line of foils designed to protect, enhance and add effects to GERBER EDGE Series produced graphics.

ColorSet foils have been designed utilizing Gerber's Matched Technology System - the perfect integration of software, hardware, and materials, which provide a solution for your occasional short-term, GERBER EDGE graphic needs. Whether the job is promotional, short term interior or exterior signs, banner graphics, or novelty items, ColorSet foils provide the ideal performance match to application needs. Not available for the EDGE FX.
