EDGE READY™ is the term we use for unique materials that have been specially created for use with the GERBER EDGE™ and EDGE FX™. These are not your everyday sign shop vinyl films! From window and floor graphics to holographic point-of-purchase and promotional decals and even UL recognized label stock, EDGE Specialty films will allow you to expand your sign business into other high profit applications.

Gerber Series 210 - Deluxe Gold & Silver
Mirror-finish 3-mil vinyl film designed for use with Gerber imaging devices, as well as standard “cut” vinyl applications. Five-year unprinted exterior life.

Gerber Series 210 - Fluorescent
Vibrant, attention-getting 2-mil films provide excellent visibility under normal or low light conditions. Perfect for point of purchase, window graphics, and displays. One-year exterior life.

Gerber Series 250Cv2 - Controltac Film w Comply Adhesive
2-mil, repositionable vinyl graphic film with a grey-pigmented, pressure-sensitive adhesive. The new design of this film allows air to easily escape through micro- channels under the film’s surface without leaving any noticeable channel marks on the film surface itself. The result is a smooth, glossy graphic film that is faster and easier to apply than conventional films.

Ideal for large graphics over corrugated and riveted surfaces such as tractor trailers, buses, and other fleet graphic applications. Series 250C v2 can be used on a wide variety of substrates including ABS resins, aluminum, chrome, glass, fiberglass reinforced plastics, painted surfaces and flat or simple curved surfaces, with and without rivets. This film is not recommended for use on stainless steel, non-3M films, or substrates that do not have a clean, smooth surface or have poor paint-to-substrate adhesion. It is also not intended for applications where petrochemical contact may occur. If petrochemical exposure is anticipated, refer to the Product Bulletin.

Gerber FloorMinders
The EDGE READY™ Gerber Floor Graphics material is designed for use with the GERBER EDGE® and GerberColor foils in the production of durable, high impact floor and countertop graphics. Graphic production requirements must be followed; the removability of this product for new applications has been extended from six months to one full year without the use of heat or chemicals. This extended product life cannot be made retroactive for graphics that have already been applied. This product includes white Controltac film and specially-designed overlaminate.

Gerber GerberGlow
GerberGlow, a novelty grade “glow-in-the-dark” film, is a 2.5-mil vinyl designed for use with the GERBER EDGE and GerberColor Foils. A charge time of one hour gives the film a bright glow for over 30 minutes, making it an excellent choice for promotional items, interior signage, and other novelty applications.

Gerber GerberVision
Perforated 2-mil window film suitable for all types of clear substrate displays, including transit graphics, retail windows, and P.O.P. displays. Clear adhesive system allows for easy removal and replacement.

Gerber Heat Transfer Paper 2
This new formulation heat transfer paper must be used with with GerberColor L.T. (GCLT) Series GerberColor cartridges to produce custom, heat-applied textile transfers. These heat transfer graphics have a soft hand and are printed and cut, reducing the area of unused transfer material. This new formulation replaces earlier versions.

Gerber HoloGraphix
Holographic 3.6-mil film available in four different patterns that range from mirror finish "Silver Sheen" to prismatic Kaleidoscope. Each pattern creates a spectrum of color that adds dynamic visual effects to your graphics. Combine with GerberColor Transparent (GCT) foils for truly spectacular results. Recommended for interior applications.

Gerber ImageCal "P"
A clear, calendered 4-mil vinyl film with a permanent adhesive system designed for creating decals and labels with GERBER EDGE-series printers. Two-year unprinted exterior life.

Gerber ImageCast
Cast 2-mil vinyl film with a clear adhesive system suitable for all types of graphic displays. This material is similar to Clear Enamel Receptive without the enamel receptive coating. Five year unprinted exterior life.

Gerber Luminous Film
This 8– 9-mil, durable, “glow-in-the-dark” vinyl is custom-formulated for Gerber for applications that require maximum visibility for both day and night viewing, suitable for interior safety signage, and identification signs and markings. Gerber Luminous film will “glow” for up to 6 hours and takes only 3 minutes to recharge. Luminous material meets International Maritime Organization, National Fire Protection Association, and Federal Railroad Administration requirements.

Gerber PermaGrip
Gerber PermaGrip is a durable, permanent cast vinyl film with an extremely aggressive pigmented adhesive system that provides superior hiding power when applied over colored surfaces. Gerber PermaGrip can be used to create interior and exterior labels, emblems, logos and signs on many surfaces including, flat, moderately compound curved and moderately-rough surfaces and some low surface energy materials. Custom formulated for use with GERBER EDGE Printing Systems and GerberColor foils. Not recommended for corrugated, riveted or highly irregular surfaces, flexible signface or flexible banner materials or direct petrochemical contact.

Gerber Stardust series
Gerber Stardust Gold and Silver feature brilliant metallic flakes, while Stardust Pearl offers a more subtle flake. All films have five-year unprinted outdoor durability and a pigmented adhesive system to maximize opacity. Gerber Stardust is ideally suited for vehicle, fleet, recreational and marine applications as well as elegant signs and decals. A wide variety of Stardust color effects can be easily created with GerberColor™ transparent Series (GCT) foils. Can also be used in cut-only applications to make beautiful letters and accents.
